Processing of personal data

Corzia respects your right to privacy and strives to protect your personal data in the best way possible. You should feel peace of mind when you provide us with your personal data. All processing of personal data complies with the General Data Protection Regulation requirements and other applicable laws.

Data controller

Corzia AB, 556966-1217 (“Corzia”), is data controller for the processing of personal data within the company. Corzia is responsible for the processing that takes place on our websites.

When is personal data processed?

Corzia processes your personal data under the following circumstances:

  • For the purpose of fulfilling our commitments in projects and services
  • When you search for job openings or register your interest in employment with us
  • When you register as a customer or someone interested in our services, newsletters, etc.
  • When you register to participate in our courses and seminars
  • When you otherwise seek contact with us, for example by visiting our offices
  • When you participate in different types of surveys we conduct
  • When you are a supplier to a company in our Group

Types of data we collect

We collect primary contact details such as the data subject’s name, address, telephone number and email address. For business representatives or representatives of organizations, we primarily collect the name of the contact person, position and department affiliation, as well as their address, telephone number and workplace email address. In other situations, the data you have chosen to submit is collected by Corzia.

If, when you register for a seminar or similar activity, you indicate that you wish to have a specific meal or if you have other requests, we assume that you want this information to be registered with us, and this information will be processed by the designated people at Corzia. Data regarding the meal will be deleted shortly after the actual meeting or event has taken place.

Corzia does not collect personal identity numbers or sensitive personal data such as an indication of ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, health or sexual orientation. If you provide us with such information, for example if you are looking for a job with us, you agree that we will process this information.

The purpose of processing personal data

The personal data you provide with us is registered in our systems and used for the purpose in the part of our business for which it is intended.

Your contact details, as a representative of a company or an organization, may be used for marketing purposes and for the follow-up and development of our services.

When you are search for a job opening, submit an expression of interest for employment with us, participate in surveys or indicate you would like to be contacted by us, then we use your personal data only for the purpose for which you have provided the data.

Disclosure of personal data

The information you provide to Corzia may be stored and disclosed to our partners in accordance with the data processing register, i.e., to persons or companies outside Corzia with whom we have agreements, to the extent necessary to fulfill our commitments. In these situations, Corzia is the data controller and the suppliers we use are personal data processors.

Personal data processors are required to follow instructions from Corzia and are not entitled to disclose your personal data to anyone else or to use them for purposes other than those covered by our instructions. Personal data processors are also required to take technical and organizational measures in accordance with our instructions or agreements to protect your personal data.

We may also disclose personal data as required by law, regulation or government decision.

We will not sell your personal data to third parties unless we have received your approval.

How long do we retain personal data?

We will retain your personal data for as long as necessary for us to fulfill our commitments or to respond to your expression of interest.

We aim to remove any personal data that is no longer used for the purpose for which we have collected it no later than two years after use. We might retain the data longer if necessary to comply with legal requirements or to defend Corzia’s legal interests. Pseudonymized data may be stored for statistical purposes.

If you believe that a statement about you is incorrect or misleading, you can contact our CEO and request a change in writing.

You have the right to request and obtain from us, once per calendar year and free of charge, information about any of your personal data that Corzia has processed. You can request this information in writing from our data protection officer by sending an email to or a letter to our postal address.

Security and protection of personal data

There is always a risk involved in providing personal data over the internet or in technical systems. No systems are fully protected against infringement or other security risks.

Corzia has taken reasonable security measures to protect personal data against improper access, alteration and destruction.
